Meet Ted Sanchious

My Story

Theodore (Ted) R. Sanchious, joined Deluxe Corporation in November 2021 as Vice President and Director, Payments Solution Consulting. He leads a Payments Product Solution Consulting Team in its continued support of Deluxe’s ongoing efforts for growth in Payments and Treasury Management. Ted’s team is responsible for product solutioning, product pricing, sales support and new business development which are paramount to the growth of the business.

Ted is an experienced leader in business and not for profit board leadership. Ted has extensive experience designing and developing strategic plans, managing, training, and leading leaders and developing products and services for Corporations, State and Local Governments and the Federal Government. He has more than 30 years of advancement in diversified financial services leadership roles that have included Product Management and Development, Client Service and Operations Management. Prior to joining Deluxe Corporation, Ted served as Senior Vice President and Head of Receivables Product Management Transaction Banking, for Santander Bank, N.A. His team was responsible for product line performance throughout its lifecycle including product strategy, product planning and issue prioritization. The team was also responsible for product pricing, product development. He also held senior leadership roles as Vice President and Head of Product Management for First Data’s Remittance Services Business, Product Head for Citi’s North America Core Receivables Business and as Public Sector Product Management Head for JPMorgan Chase Treasury Services Business.

Ted is not only a leader in business but has served as a community leader throughout his career. He has served as Director or Executive Officer for more than a dozen not for profit organizations over the past 30 years. He has also served as a member of the Financial Services Curriculum Design Team for the State of Arizona, where he worked on implementing a Financial Services Curriculum for grades K-12. Ted recently served as Secretary for the Dream Builders Foundation where he was a founding Board Member and the first Secretary of the Foundation.

Ted holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance, a Masters in Business Administration Degree and is a Doctoral Candidate in Organizational Leadership. As an undergraduate, Ted was a scholarship athlete and Captain of his University’s Track and Field Team for two years. He also earned Hall of Fame Athlete of the Year honors. Ted is a member of the Urban Financial Services Coalition and the Institute of Financial Operations. He is a Certified Treasury Professional (CTP), which distinguishes him in the field of Treasury Management and Finance.

Ted resides in Egg Harbor Township, NJ with his beautiful wife Vanessa and one of his two sons, Jorden. His oldest son Derrick is an Airforce Airman who reside in Utah with his lovely wife, Serena and their two sons, Hudson, and Carter. Ted is a proud member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., where he serves as Regional President for the Northeastern Region. He is also a Life Member of the Grand Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., and a Life Member of the Northeastern Region. Ted is also a Master Mason and member of the Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania.
